Beauty With A Purpose

President of the Miss World® Organization (based in the UK), Julia Morley, coined the phrase 'Beauty With A Purpose' more than 25 years ago and since then more than $500 million USD have been raised in its name in support of children's charities across the globe, bringing help and hope to hundreds of thousands in need. Among the many recipients of this outstanding fund-generating activity has been Variety International, of whose board Julia Morley is also the president of.

MWC is pleased to be presenting Miss World® Canada 2011 and champion its participants to become strong philanthropists and community leaders. Miss World Canada is the only pageant of its kind which has fundraising for Variety - The Children's Charity constitute a portion of the overall judging score. 10% of each contestestant's score is based on her fundraising endeavours.
